“LA PARTIES” LIVE & ACOUSTIC FROM THE KNOLL

Back on a day that was 75 and sunny in October, my good friend Cat (aka Malibu Cathy) came in from Jersey and we made a few little videos around my hometown. The first of those videos was an acoustic performance of “LA Parties” in the hills outside Carbondale.

All summer I was drawing up this idea. I produced it myself so it took me a while to get the right gear and figure out the best way to engineer it. The spot we did this one at is a little knoll on top of the mountains that overlook the valley. It’s a classic spot to have a few beers with the homies at during the summer months. People even have campfires up there which is cool, and you’re bound to run into some deer, turkey vultures, etc. Moral of the story - small town America can be a lot of fun when you do it right.
